    Important Details for the Aspirants of SBI PO 2019 EXAM

    For every bank exam aspirant, SBI PO 2019 exam is the most awaited opportunity to grab a job in India’s biggest banking organization (SBI). Besides having information about SBI PO Syllabus and Exam Pattern, it is important to know important details which will be essentially useful to all the aspirants. In this article, we will share some of the important details about SBI PO exam 2019 and they are as follows:- From April 2019, SBI PO Application form will be available where candidates are required to fill the form in online mode only.

     The form will be available for the eligible candidates only. So, let us discuss the eligibility criteria for the exam.  The basic eligibility criteria are as follows:-

     1. The candidate must be an Indian National

    2. Educational Qualifications - The candidate should be a Graduate in any stream from a recognized University. The students in their final year of graduation can also apply.

     3. Age - The candidate has to be between 21 to 30 years on April 1, 2019. There will be relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for SC/ST/J&K Migrants. The upper limit of age is 33 years for OBC candidates while there is relaxation of 10-15 years for PwD category candidates, depending on their category.

     4. Number of Attempts - Now, this is important information which is generally neglected or undermine by the students. The candidates of General Category can have 4 attempts, while 7 attempts are allowed for candidates belonging to General (Pwd), OBC, OBC (PwD) category of students. There is no restriction on number of attempts for SC/ST (PwD) category of students. SBI PO exam 2019 will be conducted in three important stages- Prelims, Mains, Group Discussion/Interview round.

     The Prelims exam will form the basis of qualification to the Mains exam and you may crack it through SBI PO Course. The shortlisted students who are successful in both Prelims and Mains will appear for the Group Discussion/Interview Round. This exam will be conducted by State Bank of India (SBI) on national level.

    It is estimated that there will be around 30 million candidates who will be appearing in SBI PO 2019 exam. The available seats are 2400 (approximately) and extra information can be procured from SBI PO Helpline Number (022-22820427). SBI PO Admit Card SBI will be separately releasing the Admit Cards for SBI PO Prelims 2019 exam and SBI PO Mains 2019 exam.

    The candidates who are successful in clearing SBI PO Prelims exam will be issued SBI PO Mains 2019 EXAM. Before downloading the admit card for any phase of the exam, the candidates are required to read the guidelines provided by SBI official website through Bank PO Coaching Bhubaneswar. After downloading the Admit Cards, it is mandatory for every candidate to carry it to the examination hall as a proof of his eligibility for that particular phase of the exam.     1. The marks scored by the candidates in SBI PO Prelims will not be considered for the selection.

     2. The candidates have to qualify SBI PO Mains 2019 and Group Discussion/Interview Round separately for the selection.

     3. The marks scored by the candidates in SBI PO Mains exam are converted to out of 75 and marks scored in Group Exercises & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25. This makes the new total score (Mains + GD/PI) to be 100.

     4. For the final merit list of each category, the aggregate score out of 100 is used and the candidates with top merit in each category are finally selected. We hope that the listed important details about SBI PO 2019 exam will be great help to all the spirited candidates.
