    1. You should learn tables of prime no’s 13, 17, 19, 23 etc by heart. It will easier for you to calculate. For example- if your answer is 115/92, and if you have learned the tables by heart then you can simplify 23×5=115 and 23x 4= 92, and so, above fraction is reduced to 5/4.For reducing ratios, calculator will be of no use to you, so learn tables by heart.
    2. Likewise, you should also learn divisibility rules and factorization techniques. It will also help you in conversion of fractions to decimals. The learning of tables is also very important in these calculations.
    3. You should also learn quick methods of HCF and LCM. There are many word problems which are based on HCF and LCM. It is required for addition and subtraction of fractions. There are many word problems where we are required to find LCM and its multiples and calculator will be of no use. It is your basic concepts of learning which will help you in solving these problems.
    4. You should learn quick tricks for square roots and cube roots and memorize percentage conversions to fractions. It is very much required for percentage word problems, profit and loss problems, simple and compound interest problems.
